The pilot of the Force India Nico Hlkenberg fastest lap on the track "Catalonia" in the third day of the first pre-season test and topped the standings. German overtook Romain Grosjean with Haas and Kimi Raikkonen with Ferrari and drove more miles from them.  Nico lead in the morning, raising the bar of 1: 23.110 minutes with tires SuperSoft and then keep its lead until the end of the day.
Grosjean approached him with three seconds and so gave hope to his new team that this season will have the speed. Third finished the pilot of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, but the day was not seamless - the morning made only 4 laps, and not a time for checking the fuel system, but then the afternoon to catch up and overtake the Renault driver Kevin Magnussen, who also had technical difficulties, but recover and make a lot of laps - a total of 11. Mercedes decided today to give a chance and his two pilots.
