Four times Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said his most beloved wife, Donald Trump, is his wife Melanie.

Eighty-year-old Berlusconi took part in a television show where he was asked if he was flattered to compare him to Trump, who also started as a real estate tycoon and turned into a polemical political leader.

"It does not bring any feelings to me," said the billionaire, but added: "But for Trump, I can say that like many men and women, I like Melanie for her beauty, style and charm."

Last month, Berlusconi called President Emmanuel Makron, "a beautiful girl with a good mother," citing his 64-year-old wife, Brigitte Tron. Eighty-year-old Berlusconi returned to the political scene this week to compete for his Forza Italy party before Sunday's municipal elections expired. Although he was expelled from parliament after being convicted of tax fraud four years ago, he remains the undisputed leader of his party, which is third in popularity.
